What is Little Nets?

Our mission is to make netball fun, accessible and confidence boosting for primary school aged children.

Every child is welcome, whatever their experience or ability. Each session is designed to help children build confidence, develop their skills and enjoy the game at their own pace. Starting with warm-ups and skill-building activities, children learn to pass, move, shoot and understand how to work as a team. It’s all about learning, having fun and developing a strong foundation of netball skills and understanding.

Meet the founders

Gemma & Nareece

Hi! We are Gemma and Nareece. Two self-confessed netball fanatics who met through our love of the sport. Netball was a huge part of our childhood and through Little Nets we want to share that passion with the next generation.

We know what a good first session feels like, and we want every child who comes to Little Nets to leave happy, confident and proud of themselves.

We’re dreaming big

We’re dreaming big. Really big.

Little Nets is about much more than coaching sessions. Our vision is to build a thriving schools netball community where children have opportunities to learn, play, compete and represent their school with pride. One of our ambitions for 2027 is to launch a Year 5 and 6 Schools Netball League.
